Start Your Request →Before the weddings, there were horses — and they're still very much at the heart of what we do, including our partnership with McNeese Equestrian.
Constructed on 100 acres in Southwest Louisiana, our facility offers only the highest quality and best equine products available — from riding lessons and training to boarding, sales, breeding, leases, and layover stays for horses passing through.
Have the wedding of your dreams — from an intimate ceremony of a dozen guests to a full celebration of five hundred, across barns, courtyard, and open oak grove.
Weathered wood and high rafters for receptions and rehearsal dinners of any size.
Century oak trees frame an outdoor ceremony site — the property's most photographed spot.
Converts into a full reception hall, rain or shine, for larger gatherings.
A spacious event barn, a 20,000-square-foot arena, and a beautifully landscaped courtyard — a rustic, out-of-the-ordinary backdrop for whatever you're celebrating.
Beyond weddings, Le Bocage hosts rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, fundraisers, corporate events, field trips, and photography sessions — with 100 acres to work with and horses available to include in your photos for a small additional fee. Events are quoted based on a detailed plan submitted in advance, including a sketch of your table and furniture placement.
Photos only capture so much — the best way to picture your event here is to walk it with us.
A few of the community events happening on the property — open to the public, rain or shine.
A one-day shopping experience celebrating the best parts of the season — boutiques, artisans, makers, home décor vendors, specialty foods, live entertainment, food and drinks.
A lively spring market celebrating shopping, music, and community — 74 vendors, live music, local food trucks, and adoptable pets. $5 admission (military & law enforcement free).
Our first Cowboy Christmas raised over $44,000 for Reins of Hope, LaPaw Animal Rescue, and All Paws Welcome. Thank you to everyone who came out.
Our mission is to maintain a picturesque, state-of-the-art equestrian facility for boarding, training, and lessons — while fostering a family atmosphere and giving the community access to the farm and its events.
Operating since 2009, we've grown from a single owner's investment and passion for horses into the premier equestrian and event venue in Southwest Louisiana. Our 100 acres include two covered arenas, an outdoor lighted jumping arena, a practice/warm-up ring, and full-sized grass-riding flats, designed by Olympic-level designer Leopaldo Palacio.
After 13 years focused solely on equestrian operations, we expanded into wedding and event hosting — putting our barns and grounds to work for celebrations, too.
4550 South Park Drive, Lake Charles, LA — minutes from I-10, I-210, Burton Coliseum, McNeese State University, and Lake Charles Regional Airport.
Photos only capture so much of a hundred acres of oaks and open barns — the best way to picture your event (or your horse's new home) here is to walk it with us.
